First United Methodist of Hammond, The Well UMC, and First UMC Ponchatoula  will begin a GriefShare Group on Sunday afternoons at 5 p.m. beginning January 8, 2012.  The group will meet at First UMC Ponchatoula.  The purpose of the group is to support persons who have lost a loved one. The group will be facilitated by Rev. Michael McLaurin.

 

GriefShare is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences. You don’t have to go through the grieving process alone.  GriefShare seminars and support groups are led by people who understand what you are going through and want to help. You’ll gain access to valuable GriefShare resources to help you recover from your loss and look forward to rebuilding your life.

 

The group is open to anyone and there is no charge. Each week stands alone so you may attend all or one.
