Meet Heather

Hello! My name is Heather Curtis, and I have just joined the ministry staff at The Well.

I will begin my ministry here by focusing on the children and youth. I have just moved back to Louisiana from Altamonte Springs, Florida (just north of Orlando), where I have lived for the last five years.

I am so excited to be back in South Louisiana! So, a little about myself: I was born in Shreveport and grew up in Metairie, then moved to Florida because I met a wonderful Floridian boy and decided to marry him. :)

I graduated from the University of Central Florida in 2008 with my degree in Religious Studies. I am coming to you from a United Methodist Church in Apopka, Florida, where I served as the youth director. My husband, Justin, will be joining me in Louisiana very soon (he's still on the job hunt) with our dog, Snuggle the Puggle, and our two cats, Maximus and Gizmo. Some of my favorite hobbies include singing, playing the guitar, piano, and drums, enjoying New Orleans delicacies such as snoballs, Roman candy, and beignets, and fervently cheering for the Saints.
